Seaview Loft was formerly used to store the family's sailing dingy and boating paraphernalia. Now it is a cosy, self contained apartment for one or two. Down stairs there is a compact bathroom with a shower providing oodles of hot water. Up the companionway, the master cabin is fitted with a queen sized bed, CD player, TV, writing desk and telephone - plus high-speed internet connection. There is a small, well equipped kitchen re-stocked every day with fresh ingredients for a continental breakfast, along with freshly ground coffee and a selection of teas. |

One of The Loft's most enjoyable features is the upper level outdoor deck, providing a spectacular view of Wellington harbour. The Loft is totally separate from the owners home so guests can enjoy their privacy - then again if you feel like company, your hosts, Chris & Ken, are close at hand and always ready to share their knowledge of what to do and where to go in the Wellington region. |

Two cats and a toy poodle also share the property. Rosy (black face) is very aloof, Daisy (white face) is friendly but she doesn't make a nuisance of herself. Indigo our poodle is typical of her breed - lively and very good-natured but respectful of guests peace and quiet. |
